A Central Coast musician, DJ and MC who covers weddings from live acoustic ceremony music to a DJ and live music reception, across all of NSW.
Nick Read Entertainment is led by Nick Read, a full-time musician, DJ and MC based on the Central Coast of NSW. Nick has over 23 years of experience in music and performance and more than 11 years in weddings and private events. His awards include first place nationally at the 2024 ABIA awards for both Wedding DJ and Wedding Solo/Duo Musicians, and first place nationally for Wedding Singer in 2025.
For weddings, Nick offers live music, DJ and MC services across the ceremony, canapés and reception. Ceremonies can feature live acoustic versions of the couple's aisle, signing and recessional songs, and receptions mix live sets with DJ sets, dinner music, lighting and a wireless microphone for speeches. A trio with bass and drums can be added to open the dance floor, and a team of DJs is also available.
Every couple gets a free consultation, a short video walkthrough and curated playlists for aisle, first dance and dance floor songs, so the music reflects their taste rather than a cookie-cutter set. Nick also performs with fellow musicians Simon and Veronika, and plays at weddings, events and venues across all of NSW.
