About Merewether Surfhouse
Merewether Surfhouse is a spectacular beachfront Newcastle wedding venue perched above iconic Merewether Beach, with multiple ceremony and reception spaces overlooking the ocean and the famous Merewether ocean baths. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls open onto a sun-drenched deck.
Full-service catering by the in-house restaurant team, with seafood-forward menus matched to local Hunter Valley wines. Festoon lights strung along the deck for evening receptions.
The venue's elevated position gives uninterrupted ocean views with the iconic Merewether ocean baths visible below — one of the most photographed scenes on the entire NSW coast.
