A Melbourne marquee and party hire company that plans, builds and packs down wedding marquees, from small backyard tents to large clear roof structures.
Marquee Monkeys is a marquee and party hire business based in Clayton South and working across Melbourne, led by owner and manager Dom Ellis. The range runs from 3 metre marquees through 6, 10 and 15 metre widths to larger structures, in white, black and clear roof styles. Alongside the marquee, couples can hire flooring, tables and chairs, lighting and heating, bars and dinner and glassware.
For weddings there are no standard packages. The team listens to each couple's vision, visits the chosen site to check space and access, then finalises a list of requirements and creates a 3D render of the layout to make sure guests and furniture fit. On the day they install everything, work alongside florists, stylists and celebrants, and return afterwards to pack down and leave the property as they found it.
Real weddings on the site include a clear roof marquee with festoon lights and a timber floor on a Mornington Peninsula family property, and a long clear roof marquee over a tennis court in Portsea with the pool covered for pre drinks. Couples praise the team's communication and attention to detail.
