Manor on High is a wedding and reception venue set on a five-acre estate in Epping, about a 35-minute drive north of the Melbourne CBD. It hosts more than 300 weddings a year across three rooms: the Regency Room for 80 to 180 guests, the Georgian Room for up to 270 and the Grand Ballroom for up to 650. Each room has its own entrance, foyer, bridal room, bar lounge, courtyard and bathrooms, so events run independently.
The Regency Room is styled New York chic, with a timber foyer, crystal chandeliers, a Louis XV fireplace and a grand piano. The Georgian Room greets guests with a foyer and romantic staircase, while the pillarless Grand Ballroom has a diamond-cut ceiling and a sweeping dance floor under crystal chandeliers. Ceremonies can be held in the gardens, in one of the rooms or in the courtyards, with their formal French garden beds and water features.
Packages are tailored to each wedding and typically cover an event manager, waiters and a barman, all food, canapes, six hours of drinks, a choice of chairs and centrepieces, and use of the bridal room and courtyard. The chefs cater for vegetarian, gluten free and halal guests, a barista serves espresso in each lounge, and the team caters for Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Indian and other cultural weddings.
