Magnet-Me sends a roaming photographer to your wedding and prints guests' candid photos on site as personalised fridge magnets they can take home the same night.
Magnet-Me has been turning event photos into instant photo magnets since 2013. Founder Haim Kadar launched the business after moving to Melbourne, seeing room for something between traditional event photography and a standard photo booth. At a wedding, a Magnet-Me photographer roams the celebration capturing candid moments of the couple and their guests, and the photos are printed on site as personalised fridge magnets throughout the night.
Before the wedding, couples work with Magnet-Me's graphic designer on a custom magnet frame featuring their names, date and wedding theme, or choose from a ready-made frame library. On the day, a fresh batch of magnets goes up on the Magnet Board every 20 to 30 minutes for guests to find and take home. Prints come in 3x4 inch and 6x4 inch sizes and are laminated, water resistant and UV protected.
Unlimited magnet prints are included, and after the event the couple receives a curated magnet package. Magnet-Me pitches the magnets as a wedding favour guests actually keep on their fridge, and runs the same service at engagement parties, birthdays, graduations and corporate events. It is a guest keepsake and entertainment service rather than full wedding day photography coverage.
