Luxe Pony Co. is a family run chauffeur service based in Doreen on Melbourne's north-eastern fringe, supplying two classic 1966 Ford Mustangs with professional drivers to weddings across Victoria.
Luxe Pony Co. is a family run business built around one idea: classic chauffeured Mustangs paired with polished, personal service. The name blends Luxe, a nod to refined service, with Pony, the nickname of the car that defined a generation. Based in Doreen, Victoria, and servicing the whole state, the business is registered as a chauffeur service with the Victorian Taxi Service Commission and operates to that body's code of ethics and conduct.
The fleet is two first generation Mustangs. The 1966 Ford Mustang GT Coupe was sourced from Simi Valley, California, imported to Australia in the late 1990s and meticulously restored, and now runs a 347 cubic inch V8 with integrated fog lamps, dual exhaust, five dial instrumentation with wood grain trim and the signature lower body stripes. The 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible is finished in Wimbledon White with period correct polished wheels. The stable is growing, with further additions on the way.
Wedding bookings come with thoughtful touches: each car has an onboard fridge for chilled refreshments, a red carpet can be rolled out for ceremonial arrivals and exits, the playlist is personalised to the couple, custom number plates are available for photos and every car carries a kit of emergency essentials. If a couple wants other vehicle styles alongside the Mustangs, Luxe Pony Co. works with hand selected chauffeur service partners to coordinate the arrival.
