Leisure Coast Limousine Service is a Horsley family business in Dapto that has run chauffeured cars in the Illawarra since 1990, with a dedicated fleet of wedding cars alongside its Sydney Airport transfers.
Leisure Coast Limousine Service has been operating out of Dapto since 1990. Mike and Pat Horsley bought the business in 1989 as a single car and built it into a wedding car, limousine and shuttle bus operation, and their son Mark joined full time in 1996 to grow it further. It is still a family partnership today, with a stated sense of personal pride in every part of the operation and door to door service on demand.
Weddings are handled as individually prepared packages, whether that is one bridal car, two stretch limousines or luxury mini coaches for the guests. The wedding fleet centres on matching pairs of Ford LTD stretch limousines, with seven dedicated wedding cars carrying couples over the weekends, and chauffeurs who are described as highly trained and aware of how important the day is. The aim, in the company's words, is to combine traditional elegance and romance with personal and efficient service.
The wider business runs 15 vehicles on the Wollongong to Sydney Airport route, and the premises on Marshall Street in Dapto were designed to Council and EPA regulations with a full wash bay. The company supports local schools, clubs and charities with donated limousine trips and is a member of the Illawarra Business Chamber, Shellharbour Tourism and Wollongong Tourism.
