A heritage-listed 1850s home in private gardens in the heart of the Perth CBD, with dining rooms, a rose garden and a courtyard lawn for weddings of 10 to 300 guests.
Bishops House is a heritage-listed home built in the 1850s, set in private gardens on the corner of Spring Street and Mounts Bay Road in the heart of the Perth CBD. The Lamont family has run it as a formal dining venue for well over a decade, with Kate Lamont and Nathan Le leading the kitchens. Weddings range from 10 guests in a private dining room to cocktail receptions of up to 300 in the gardens.
Inside, the Private Dining Room seats up to 20 and the Boardroom up to 12, while Dining Room 1 and Dining Room 2 open onto the balcony and garden views. Together they form the Main Level for up to 40 seated or 70 for cocktails. Outside, the Rose Garden courtyard of white iceberg roses and climbing figs seats 80, and the Lower Courtyard and lawn seat 140 with room for marquees and a dance floor.
There are no venue, room hire or ceremony fees. Menus are built on seasonal, fresh and local produce, with plated packages, a shared table option and cocktail receptions, plus beverage packages and welcome cocktails. The outdoor areas can take your own furniture hire, marquees, specialty lighting, live music or a DJ and dance floors, and the whole house can be booked for exclusive use.
