About La Porte Space
The Moroccan Courtyard at La Porte Space is a secluded 80m² open-air retreat, wrapped in rustic rendered walls and dotted with rattan seating and potted palms. The effect is pure Mediterranean oasis — a calm, sun-washed sanctuary that feels worlds away from the city just beyond its walls. That enclosed privacy is exactly what makes it such a serene setting to exchange vows beneath the open sky.
The courtyard sets the scene for your ceremony, while the venue’s adjoining studios seat up to 150 guests for the reception — so the day flows from vows to dancing under one roof, whatever the weather. Hire is refreshingly transparent, with prices starting from $2,990 + GST for the ceremony package, $8,990 + GST for the reception package, and $11,990 + GST for the combined ceremony and reception package.
And because the space already brings so much character of its own, couples can direct their styling towards the finishing touches — florals, rugs, candles and lanterns — that make it unmistakably theirs. It’s one of the most distinctive unique wedding venues in Sydney.

What's typically included
- Venue hire — Exclusive use of the reception entry, Café/Bar, Marché and the private open-air Moroccan Courtyard, plus bathrooms and catering back-of-house (Studios 2 & 3 added on reception packages). Space-only hire for 10–150 seated guests.
- Catering — Bring your own caterer, or use one of the venue’s recommended caterers; a dedicated catering back-of-house area is provided.
- Bar & beverages — BYO bar or service through your caterer (RSA certificate required).
- Furniture & styling — Extensive on-site furniture hire available (tables, chairs and more), or bring your own; a resident florist is on hand, or arrange your own.
- Wet weather option — Studios 2 & 3 provide a covered indoor backup, so an open-air Moroccan Courtyard ceremony can move under cover if it rains.
- Bridal suite — Optional private suite for the bride and bridesmaids.
- Equipment — Ceremony chairs, PA and other equipment available on request (7 days’ notice).
