About Keepsakephoto by the Keeffes
Keepsakephoto by the Keeffes is Daniel and Maria, a Canberra based wedding team who describe themselves as light chasers and rule breakers, photographing for non-traditional and adventurous couples. Daniel is behind the camera, while Maria looks after the creative visuals, graphics, website and socials and is described as the brains behind the business. They document the day as it unfolds, capturing details, loved ones, light and mood to tell a story that is completely yours.
Their five words for their style are genuine, intimate, romantic, non-intrusive and fun, with a fully candid approach and guidance when it is needed. They like to meet couples for a hot chocolate before booking, scout new locations ahead of the day, and deliver around 500 to 600 individually retouched images from an eight hour wedding, along with a handmade presentation package. Fine art albums, prints and handmade wood boxes are also available.
Featured stories include weddings at Centennial Vineyards, The Rift Coach House in Bowral and The Woods Farm, and their work has appeared in Polka Dot Bride, Brides Diary, HerCanberra and Her Bride His Groom. They also photograph micro weddings, elopements, connection sessions and families, and travel anywhere in Australia or overseas for destination weddings.
