Joseph Jones Photography is the Sydney wedding and events photography business of Joseph Jones, known as Joe, a self-taught professional photographer and AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer. Joe has always loved people-watching, from body language to facial expressions, and uses photography to capture precious moments and raw emotions. At weddings Joe looks for natural, genuine emotion, on a day filled with laughter, tears, love and affection, and photographs each event personally.
While Joe enjoys natural light, the preference is to work with strobes to control the light and produce images that stand out, with two cameras, multiple lenses, flashes and backdrops on hand. The wedding portfolio includes couples beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and in front of the Opera House, a lakeside ceremony, a Chinese garden portrait session and a colourful traditional ceremony under a golden mandap.
Wedding packages cover four or six hours and include unlimited professionally edited images to download, a free online gallery, a few specially retouched photos and framed prints, with a free second photographer on the six hour package. Italian printed leather albums and parents' albums are available, and wedding videography is also offered. Joseph Jones Photography received the Easy Weddings Certificate of Excellence in 2020 and 2021.
