Jake It Official is the celebrancy of Jake Pearman-Sultana, a NSW marriage celebrant and member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants. Jake was the go-to master of ceremonies for family and friends' events for more than ten years, where many people assumed public speaking was his full-time job. Those occasions sparked his passion for creating meaningful moments, and studying to become a celebrant felt like the natural next step.
Jake married his high school sweetheart, April, in 2015 and is a father of three daughters. During the week he teaches PDHPE and Maths at a high school and leads his school's wellbeing work. He has been involved in local sporting teams and supported community wellbeing through Gotcha For Life, has run several marathons, and had travelled to 30 countries by the age of 30. These days the family explores Australia by caravan.
He offers three ways to Jake It Official. Legals is just the two of you, two witnesses and the legal wording. Intimate suits up to 40 guests with a personalised ceremony of no more than 20 minutes built from online questionnaires, plus vow cards. Don't Hold Back is the whole show: a tailored ceremony of up to 45 minutes, regular contact, personalised printed vow cards and a rehearsal by phone or online.
Every option includes a 100 km round trip, a meeting to sign your Notice of Intended Marriage and lodgement of all legal documents, with longer trips quoted and interstate or overseas weddings open for discussion. Jake prefers to meet face to face to see if you are the right fit. Alongside weddings he works as a master of ceremonies at receptions and conducts naming days and vow renewals.
