Jacob Jennings Photography is based in Murray Bridge, South Australia, and Jacob Jennings has been photographing weddings for nine years. The approach is built on three words: relaxed, adventurous and authentic. The aim is to bring the stress of the day down a notch and create an easy, fun atmosphere, so couples can take everything in as it happens while the photos tell the story of the day.
Jacob is a connection focused photographer, looking for the unexpected and unnoticed moments: loved ones crying during the ceremony, a shared look, the way a couple holds hands. Film is a big part of the style, so expect a mix of 35mm film and digital, plus a drone when it suits. Every gallery is culled, colour graded and retouched where needed, without changing permanent features.
Planning help is part of the service, from building a timeline that suits the day to recommending other suppliers Jacob has worked with. Jacob likes to catch up before the wedding, ideally with a site visit, and keeps clear umbrellas and lighting on hand for bad weather. Travel is included within 300km of Adelaide on the full day package, and Jacob is available worldwide.
