Indooroopilly Golf Club has been creating weddings for over 30 years at its secluded home in the Long Pocket area of Indooroopilly, about 7km or 10 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. The club was established in 1926 at St Lucia, and the current clubhouse, built in 1985, looks over its 36 hole course and the Brisbane city skyline. Couples can say their vows in the garden, celebrate in the clubhouse and take their photos out on the course.
Garden ceremonies are held on a private lawn under the Poinciana tree, with a red carpet aisle, white Americana chairs, a registration table and indoor spaces as a wet weather alternative. Receptions are in the Terrace Room, the largest room with floor to ceiling windows over the course and a covered terrace for sunset and city light views, or the split level Fairways Room overlooking the Events Lawn and the lit Poinciana tree.
Every reception package includes up to one hour of on-course photography, with four golf carts and a bridal basket and antipasto platter for the bridal party. Backdrops include a Moreton Bay fig tree, rustic tree lined pathways, seasonal jacarandas and open fairways. A dedicated Wedding Coordinator helps with planning, and an Event Supervisor looks after the reception on the day. Standard, styled and cocktail packages are offered. Cocktail Reception Package: From $165
per person, Monday to Thursday in 2026 ($175 Friday to Sunday). Standard Reception Package from $180 and Styled from $195 per person; minimum 60 adults. Garden ceremony package $1,200 (2026).
