Hire A Bridesmaid is a Sydney wedding planning and coordination team that started in 2015 as Australia's first professional bridesmaid service. Lead Coordinator and Planner Tash Scott and authorised marriage celebrant and MC Kerstyn Walsh look after couples across Sydney and New South Wales, and the team also travels for destination weddings. The aim is for couples to be guests at their own wedding while the team runs suppliers, timelines and the day itself.
Coordination starts around three months out, with a run sheet built together, supplier confirmations and full management of set up and the run of show on the day. Coordination packages range from three hours for elopements and intimate weddings to ten hours from set up to pack down. Full planning adds venue and supplier sourcing, budget tracking and wedding website design, and most planning packages include full day coordination.
The professional bridesmaid stands beside the bride all day as part of the wedding party, coordinating from getting ready to the last dance, while the secret bridesmaid blends into the bridal party and works quietly with suppliers. Every bridesmaid booking is confidential. Each wedding is quoted to suit, with an investment guide sent after an enquiry.
