About Hidden River Estate
Hidden River Estate is a winery and restaurant in Pemberton, in the Southern Forests wine region of Western Australia, set among the tall Karri forest. It hosts both the wedding ceremony and the reception, and couples can take part of the restaurant or book the entire venue. In-house weddings seat up to 90 guests, and cocktail style celebrations across the venue suit up to 300.
Food is the focus. The restaurant serves a modern European menu with a Middle Eastern influence, built on local and seasonal produce, and the chefs personalise each wedding menu. Wedding menus come in cocktail style with roaming gourmet bites, family style shared plates and alternate drop, with options running from grazing tables to five course meals. The estate pours its own cool climate wines alongside its Picardy range.
Venue hire includes tables and chairs, glassware, crockery and cutlery, cream napkins, a fully licensed bar, a projector and a sound system, and the outside patio and its views suit pre-dinner drinks. The estate began as farmland planted with a vineyard in the 1990s, and the restaurant won Cellar Door with Best Food in the Gourmet Traveller WINE Best Cellar Door Awards for 2022. Venue hire (2 to 30 guests): From $3,200
$6,400 for 30 to 60 guests and $9,500 for 90 to 300. Catering fee $2,500 plus waiter costs; wedding menus from $110 per person (cocktail style). 2026 wedding package.
