Georgie James Photography is based in Rutherglen, North East Victoria, and photographs weddings across North East Victoria, Southern NSW and regional Australia. Georgie has spent more than a decade photographing weddings, businesses and destinations, and alongside her commercial work she photographs a limited number of thoughtful, relaxed weddings each year. Her approach is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive, so couples can spend their wedding with the people they love.
Georgie gives direction when it helps, with portraits, light and family photos, then steps back and quietly photographs the people, atmosphere and little moments couples might not see while living the day. Her focus is as much on what happens around the ceremony as the ceremony itself: the grandparents on the dance floor, friends cracking up together and the look on a parent's face.
Her wedding collections run from three hour coverage for intimate weddings to five and eight hour days, shaped around what matters most to each couple. Every collection includes carefully edited images from the day with no arbitrary image count, delivered in a private online gallery where couples can order professional prints and albums without a sales appointment.
