Floral Alchemy

About Floral Alchemy

Floral Alchemy was established in 2019 by Ashleigh Morrison, who first discovered her love of flowers in her grandmother's garden at the age of five and started her first job as a florist in 2008. The studio sits in the Dandenong Ranges, in what the site calls the heart of flower farming in Victoria, so the materials are always fresh and seasonal, and deliveries run throughout Melbourne and the Yarra Valley.

The style leans textural, natural and free formed, observing the unique beauty of each flower and combining them in often unexpected ways. The business is first an online flower and gift delivery shop, but weddings are a stated part of the work, from intimate elopements to large scale celebrations, alongside events, corporate and other occasions, and couples are asked to contact the studio for a quote rather than choosing from set packages.

Recent wedding work shared on the gallery page includes metallic gold pillars dressed with cymbidium orchids and roses for an Olinda wedding, ceremony plinths at Zonzo Estate, an autumn bouquet at The Farm Yarra Valley and soft garden pastels at Acacia Ridge Winery. Floral Alchemy also aims to be eco conscious, limiting packaging and floral foam and returning organics to the earth.
