Event Entertainers is a Sydney-based entertainment agency and consultancy that books live bands, singers, DJs and acoustic acts for weddings, corporate events and private parties. Rather than sending couples a list of whoever is available, the team takes a brief on the couple, the venue and the feel of the day, then comes back with a shortlist of two or three acts, each chosen for a reason.
The business was founded by Tim and Josie, working musicians who still perform every weekend, so every act on the roster has been seen live in a real room. Wedding music is planned around the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and the roster covers function bands, acoustic soloists and duos, DJs, instrumentalists and featured acts across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth.
Once a couple confirms their act, Event Entertainers handles the contracts, venue liaison, run sheet, artist briefing and coordination on the day, and the couple has a single point of contact if anything changes. Recent weddings include Ormeggio, The Lands of Capella, Seclusions in the Blue Mountains and Enzos Hunter Valley, and wedding planners can book through the agency too.
