A Brisbane wedding band led by singer and guitarist Rob McMullan, playing everything from acoustic ceremony music to a full live band reception across South East Queensland and Byron Bay.
Elevation Live Band, also known as Elevation Weddings, is a premium Brisbane wedding band led by award winning singer, guitarist and band leader Rob McMullan. The band was voted Australia's best live wedding band for 2025 by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy, and it holds more than 400 ABIA reviews and more than 170 Easy Weddings reviews. It plays weddings in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, and in Byron Bay.
Packages run from a solo acoustic and DJ reception, where Rob moves from acoustic guitar and vocals into DJ sets with live singing, to a duo with piano, saxophone or female vocals, a three piece with piano, and four and five piece live bands with three part harmonies. Ceremony and canapes music, flamenco guitar, an MC service, a cloud machine for the first dance and a party lights upgrade can be added.
Couples choose songs from the band's song list, and the band learns one new song for a reception package, usually the first dance, plus up to two more with the ceremony add on. Every promotional video is recorded live, and the band uses touring grade speakers and a battery powered PA for ceremonies without power. Recent weddings include The Warehouse Brisbane and Braeside Estate.
