Ecco Ristorante is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant on a deep waterfront site in Drummoyne, with expansive views across Sydney Harbour. Established in 1994, it has specialised in a la carte dining and events for over 30 years, and it hosts boutique weddings built around its Italian influenced menu. Receptions seat up to approximately 200 guests, or up to 300 for a cocktail event, and ceremonies can be held on site on the rooftop deck.
There are several rooms to work with. The Terrace Room has 180 degree harbour, beach and park views, seats 100 and opens through glass bifold doors onto a timber deck for canapes and drinks. The Main Dining Room seats 125 with sweeping water views, an open plan kitchen and its own outdoor deck, while the Harbour View Room and the Beach Room suit smaller groups. Because the venue sits right on the water, guests can arrive or leave by boat.
In the kitchen, Chef Jason and his team cook traditional Italian with a modern twist, working with seasonal produce and the freshest ingredients. The wedding package includes canapes on arrival, an entree, main and dessert, and a five hour drinks package, served as a la carte quality dining for your guests. A minimum spend applies. The newly weatherproofed deck, with a retractable roof, clear side panels and heaters, adds a stand up space over the harbour. Compare it with the other NSW wedding venues.
