Docle Ensembles has done a fantastic job in my wedding reception last Saturday. I am so grateful for choosing the right music band.

Dolce Ensembles
A Perth string ensemble playing live classical and contemporary music for wedding ceremonies and receptions, from solo violin to a full string quartet.
About Dolce Ensembles
Dolce Ensembles is a Perth string ensemble that plays live classical and contemporary music at weddings and events across Western Australia. Bookings are handled by Kathryn, and the musicians, former WAAPA students, also perform at corporate dinners, cocktail parties, gala balls and private functions. Couples can choose a string quartet, trio, duo or a solo violin or cello, with flute, harp, piano, vocalists and electric strings available on request.
For the ceremony, the ensemble usually plays background music before and after, the entrance of the bridal party, the signing of the register and the exit, plus extras such as a candle or sand ceremony. At the reception it can cover guest arrivals and canapés, the arrival of the newlyweds, the cake cutting, the first dance and dinner. A quartet of two violins, viola and cello is the most popular choice, while a trio suits smaller spaces.
Music is chosen from classical and contemporary repertoire lists, and the website offers recommendations for processional, signing and recessional pieces. Up to two songs that are not already in the repertoire can be arranged at no extra charge. Past weddings include ceremonies at the UWA Tropical Grove, the Subiaco Theatre Gardens, St Columba's Church in South Perth and Bunker Bay Resort.
