Daniel Turner is a Melbourne wedding photographer and videographer who believes a wedding should not be one long photoshoot. The approach is photojournalistic: Daniel lets the day unfold, keeps out of the way, and captures couples relaxing and celebrating with family and friends. There are a few posed photos, but they are a small part of the day. Daniel learnt photography and videography while working in marketing in Mexico City, and speaks fluent Spanish.
Couples can choose a five hour package, suited to elopements and smaller weddings, or all day coverage that finishes when the wedding does. Photography includes pre-wedding consultations, a sneak peek within 24 hours and the full edited gallery in high resolution, free of watermarks. Videography covers a 4K highlights film with licensed music, drone footage and full ceremony and speeches audio, and a social media package delivers reels throughout the day.
Extras include Super 8 film, video and audio guest books, ceremony and speeches recording for photography clients, and prints through Atkins Pro Lab. The blog features real weddings at venues such as Melbourne Town Hall's Portico balcony, Inglewood Estate, Werribee Mansion, Barunah Plains and The Peak in Lorne. Couples praise how relaxed and fun Daniel makes the day and how natural the photos feel.
