Curves & Lace is a Melbourne wedding photography team led by Carol, who has spent decades behind a camera, together with Chris and wedding content creator Widi. Their approach blends candid storytelling, documentary honesty and a touch of editorial polish, and they welcome neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, mature, plus size and unconventional couples who want to live their wedding day rather than perform for the camera.
Weddings on the Curves & Lace blog range from registry office elopements on St Kilda Road to celebrations at Kryal Castle, Lake Wendouree and Cannibal Creek. One feature follows Fiona and Steve, whose Greek Orthodox wedding was postponed four times during lockdowns, with every reschedule kept free of extra charge. The team has been recognised as one of Melbourne's leading wedding photographers by venues including Chateau Wyuna, Ballara Receptions, Vogue Ballroom and Vines of the Yarra Valley.
Carol is also a celebrant, writing warm, personal ceremonies for intimate weddings, elopements and vow renewals, and the team co-founded Side by Side Ceremonies in Melbourne, which offers styled elopement packages covering celebrant, styling, legal service and photography. A full photo, video and content team is available for the whole wedding day, with custom payment plans to suit different budgets.
