About Colcheedas Photography
Colcheedas Photography is run by Alex Colcheedas, known to most couples as Colchee. Based in Eltham, he photographs weddings across the Macedon Ranges, Melbourne, the Yarra Valley and Geelong, and is happy to travel just about anywhere. His stated aim is to be less of a hired photographer and more like a mate at your wedding who happens to have some cameras strapped to his body.
Alex describes his style as a mix of candid and posed photography, built on relaxation, a sprinkle of adventure and plenty of humour. He holds a fine arts degree, offers as many catch ups before the day as couples need, and prepares a personalised run sheet. He prefers to capture the whole day, from the start of preparations right through to the dance floor at night.
Galleries on the site include weddings at At The Heads in Barwon Heads, Swallowfield Estate in Gembrook and Scrub Hill in Daylesford, plus an interstate wedding at Lazy River Estate in Dubbo. Packages include edited high and low resolution files, an online gallery with a print store, five 5x7 fine art prints and a custom box, with 35mm and medium format film available as extras.
