Chapel Hill Retreat is a rustic gem nestled on 35 acres at the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park, offering breathtaking panoramic views and a serene bushland setting just one hour from Sydney. Ideal for nature-loving couples, the property features a variety of outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, including a stunning timber deck, a natural bush cathedral, an oak tree-lined avenue and a covered verandah adorned with wine barrels and timber tables — perfect for long, communal dining.

This versatile venue provides the charm of a countryside wedding without the need to book out all the accommodation, making it a flexible option for couples with local guests. However, for those who wish to stay, there are eight self-contained cottages onsite that sleep up to 39 people, including a well-appointed bridal suite — perfect for getting ready and enjoying a relaxed morning-after breakfast with loved ones.

Chapel Hill Retreat offers affordable, all-inclusive wedding packages that cover catering, drinks and venue hire. For smaller weddings and elopements, celebrant and styling services are included, making the planning process seamless.

What's included at Chapel Hill Retreat

Catering — in-house, packaged by menu style — a three-course served meal with canapés and a grazing table (Eternal Love), a two-course alternate-serve with the wedding cake served as dessert (Forever and Devotion), share-platter style (Everlasting), buffet (Always Us) or cocktail style (I Do). The share, buffet and cocktail packages each come in Gold or Silver levels.
Beverages — a beverage package is built into the reception packages — standard, deluxe or premium depending on the package you choose.
Reception length — packages run to a set length: 5.5 hours for Eternal Love, 4.5 hours for Devotion.
Ceremony — the chapel and grounds. A ceremony-only package gives you exclusive use of the Chapel Hill grounds and gardens, including the chapel, for two hours from guest arrival.
Elopements and midweek — three elopement package options, including a marriage celebrant and the lodgement of the forms; discounted package pricing for midweek bookings.
Accommodation — on-site accommodation for up to 34 guests.
