Elle Morgan-Thomas is the Sydney celebrant behind Cellebrate, based in the Inner West and originally from the Upper Blue Mountains. She describes herself as a thoroughly modern celebrant who is fun, fresh and inclusive by design, and she specialises in highly personalised ceremonies that reflect the couple and genuinely entertain their guests, from elopements to big celebrations.
Elle signed up for her Cert IV in Celebrancy on the night Australia's marriage laws changed in 2017, and became a registered civil marriage celebrant in August 2022. Her site says she has since led more than 150 ceremonies and married over 300 people. She is neurodivergent, lives with an invisible disability, and brings real expertise in inclusion and accessibility to every wedding.
Her three packages run from a legals-only ceremony to a shorter personal ceremony for up to 20 attendees and a full custom ceremony with her Bose speaker and Sennheiser microphone. All of them include vow help, paperwork and travel within Greater Sydney, plus ordering your official NSW certificate.
Her practice is digital, flexible and non-traditional, and she loves themed and alternative weddings, bespoke rituals and weddings in unusual places. Dogs are very welcome. Values of inclusivity, sustainability and care for Country run through her ceremonies. She marries couples across Sydney, the Blue Mountains and beyond.
