Celebrade is the celebrancy business of Brad Richards, an authorised marriage celebrant based in Carindale on Brisbane's south side. He has more than 12 years' experience creating personalised wedding ceremonies across Brisbane and South East Queensland, and believes that every love story deserves its own ceremony. His aim is to make planning easy, enjoyable and stress-free, while delivering a ceremony that is authentic, engaging and remembered for the right reasons.

Brad describes his work ethic simply as honesty and integrity. Couples can include poems, readings, music or cultural symbols, invite family and friends to take part, or try something different and novel. He caters for anything from 2 to 200 guests, from a few people on the beach to a black-tie wedding, and starts with a chat so couples can decide whether he is the right celebrant for them. He has written on his blog about lunchtime elopements and even coffee shop weddings.

His site warmly welcomes same-sex couples, and alongside weddings he conducts vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies and funeral services. Rather than publishing set prices, Brad prefers to talk through each wedding first, considering guest numbers, location, travel, PA needs and whether a rehearsal is wanted, then follows up with an emailed quote detailing exactly what is included and what is not.

Testimonials on his site praise him as professional, warm and super organised, with couples noting how calmly he handled the unexpected on the day. Past ceremonies featured on the site include weddings at Kangaroo Point Cliffs, Riverside Receptions in New Farm, the Old Cleveland Courthouse, Miami Beach and Mount Tamborine. Brad travels from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and out to Toowoomba.
