Cakes by Han is a wedding cake studio in Valentine, NSW, run by Han, who spent a decade in the wedding and events industry, including years as a wedding planner, before moving into cake design. The business now makes wedding cakes exclusively.
Designs range from modern tiered cakes and minimalist, architectural pieces to Lambeth-style piped cakes, Italian and French millefoglie, giant tiramisu and pavlova cakes, dessert towers and mixed dessert tables, with live cake assembly where needed. Everything is baked from scratch with seasonal, locally sourced fruit, hand-made fillings and edible flowers from their own garden, and selected gluten-free and vegan options are available.
Tasting boxes are released on select dates for pickup from the studio. Cakes are delivered climate-controlled and set up on site across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley, Maitland and Port Stephens, with Sydney available at a premium.
