Cake From The Heart is a registered and insured home based cake studio in Castle Hill, run by owner and cake artist Alison Race. She creates unique, timeless and elegant wedding cakes for couples across Sydney and surrounds, including the lower Blue Mountains, and each cake is designed around the couple's own style. Inspiration comes from fashion and textiles, art and nature, and the studio is best known for its delicate hand painted cakes.
Couples can order a cake tasting box with six of the most popular flavours, from chocolate mud and caramel mud to red velvet, lemon and coconut, and raspberry swirl. Designs on the wedding gallery range from towering five-tier white cakes with wafer paper ruffles to stencilled hexagon tiers, sugar flowers and semi naked styles. Cupcakes, sugar cookies, dessert pots, tarts and cake pops can be added for the dessert table or as favours.
Cake From The Heart created all of the wedding cakes for Season 11 of Married At First Sight, and its work has appeared in Vogue and Polka Dot Bride. Quotes are personalised and wedding couples usually book three to six months ahead, as dates fill early. Cakes can be delivered to the venue or collected from Castle Hill by appointment.
