A Newcastle-based wedding photographer capturing loved-up couples in a candid, natural and fun way across Newcastle, Port Stephens, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast.
Caitlin Amy Photography is the wedding photography business of Caitlin, a Newcastle-based photographer whose office is in Merewether. Her approach is all about real moments: belly laughs, happy tears and everything in between, without awkward posing or forced smiles. She mostly hangs back watching for candid moments, and guides couples through family photos and portraits when needed. Her favourite images are candid, colourful, romantic and back-lit.
Caitlin studied Professional Photographic Techniques at The Hunter Regional School of Photography and became a full time photographer in 2013, after learning the ropes working alongside her dad, who shot weddings for 20 years. Collections include a planning session, her planning PDF and a long list of recommended vendors, with Queensberry fine art albums and a photo and video collection now on offer. She also runs an elopement collection with Jaya Bargwanna Celebrant.
Caitlin works mainly across Newcastle, Port Stephens, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast, and has travelled for weddings to places including Fiji, Italy, Byron Bay and Mexico. Her blog features weddings at Redleaf Wollombi, Greystone Estate, Circa 1876, Wallalong House and Bimbadgen Palmers Lane, and her work has appeared in Together Journal, Polka Dot Bride and Rock 'N' Roll Bride.
