A Swan Valley estate with a French-style chateau, gardens, a lake and on-site accommodation, hosting one BYO wedding a day for up to 120 seated guests.
Brookleigh Estate is in the Swan Valley at Upper Swan, set among gardens, lawns and a French-inspired chateau. It hosts only one wedding per date, so the couple has exclusive use of every designated ceremony, pre-dinner and reception space. Weddings can hold up to 120 seated or 150 cocktail guests. Manicured gardens, open fields, the lake and the chateau architecture give plenty of photo spots without leaving the grounds.
Ceremonies can be held on the terraced lawn in front of the Chateau, beside the lake at the Lakeside gazebo, or in the Jacaranda Garden, which also hosts receptions under the stars along a fairy-light wisteria lane. The European-designed Stables become a wet-weather ceremony space in two hours, the Equestrian Lawn suits a marquee, and the new Lake House is an indoor space with panoramic views of the gardens, lake and equestrian fields.
Brookleigh is a BYO venue, so couples choose their own caterer, drinks and styling, and an Estate Venue Coordinator sets up the included furniture to the floor plan. Packages run from the Diamond and Pearl to a midweek Amethyst, a Ruby Winter package in the Lake House, a ceremony-only option and the Emerald Elopement for 15 guests. Most packages include accommodation for up to six guests on the estate. Compare it with the other Western Australian wedding venues.
