Brookhampton Road Farm is a boutique farm-stay and wedding venue at Kirup in the South West, set on 72 acres of orchards, paddocks, dams and bushland and surrounded by protected State forest. Weddings here run as a weekend rather than a single day, with exclusive use of the property for three nights, from welcome drinks on arrival to a slow recovery brunch the morning after. The farm takes only a limited number of weddings each year.
Each ceremony and reception location can host up to 150 guests. The five-acre orchard holds thousands of pear and plum trees for ceremonies and long-table receptions, the space beside the farmhouse sits under festoon lights, and a marquee can go up beside the forest. The newly renovated barn has a purpose-built bar and reclaimed windows for cocktail or sit-down receptions, and every event space looks out over the farm's lakes.
The farm is a bring-your-own catering and drinks venue with no corkage fee, which suits food trucks, paella pans and caravan bars. The three-bedroom farmhouse sleeps six and is the place to get ready, guests can camp or glamp in the orchard, and dogs are welcome. Smaller Micro Wedding (up to 40 guests) and Elopement packages add a celebrant and photography. Compare it with the other Western Australian wedding venues.
