Bertie Does is a Perth event planning and styling studio, led by founder and creative director Jess, that designs, plans and styles modern, thoughtfully considered weddings in Perth and beyond.
Bertie Does is a Perth based team of wedding and event planners, stylists and coordinators who design, plan, style and execute weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. Founder and creative director Jess completed a double degree in Marketing and Event Management at Victoria University in Melbourne, with internships at the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the Australian production of Wicked The Musical and Relay For Life, before founding the studio to create thoughtful, beautifully curated celebrations.
Weddings are offered as four volumes. A one hour consult, in person or online, works through styling direction, hire selections, lighting, floor plans and timelines. Concept design delivers a bespoke styling concept, scaled floor plan and supplier summary that couples bring to life themselves. Styling and execution adds sourcing and management of every styling vendor, on the day setup and pack down. The top volume combines that styling with full planning, run sheets, rehearsal support and on the day coordination.
Real weddings on the site include Anna and Nic's colourful outdoor celebration for 180 guests at a private property overlooking the river, Bianca and Joey's WA Museum reception with velvet chairs and draping, Imogen and Nick's enchanted garden wedding across two private properties, and Thalia and Mike's marquee dinner at their family vineyard in the South West. The studio also hires vases, candles, signage stands and wishing wells.
