Beletti Restaurant Cafe Bar is a modern Italian restaurant at 159 to 161 Lonsdale Street in the centre of Dandenong. It is owned and run by Robert Moretti, who has more than 35 years of hospitality experience, and Vera Moretti, who handles catering and function enquiries. Alongside breakfast, lunch and dinner service, the restaurant runs functions, catering and weddings.
There are two ways to hold a wedding here. The restaurant's private room suits smaller weddings of 40 to 80 guests seated. For bigger celebrations the whole restaurant can be booked exclusively: 80 to 120 guests seated with a small dance area, up to 140 without a dance floor, or 100 to 160 guests for a cocktail-style reception.
Wedding menus come from the restaurant's own kitchen as set menus of two to four courses with canapés on arrival, or a cocktail menu of canapés. Packages include room hire, unlimited soft drinks, white linen, a bridal table and cake table with skirting, simple floral centrepieces and an event manager, and special dietary requirements are catered for. Drinks are charged on consumption or through a drinks package.
A PA with microphone, a lectern and a projector screen are available, and chair covers and entertainment can be arranged on request. Street parking runs along the Lonsdale Street service lane, with a paid car park on Thomas Street directly behind the building. Functions open late on Saturdays and dinner functions can be held on Sundays on request. Compare it with the other Victorian wedding venues.
