Bedroom Studio Wedding Photography & Cinema is a boutique wedding photography and cinematography house run by husband and wife team Chris and Casey. Based in the Hunter Valley, the studio shoots weddings across Newcastle, the Central Coast, Port Stephens, Sydney and beyond. Established in 2014, it has captured more than a thousand weddings, and Chris still leads from the front, shooting weddings every weekend alongside trained senior shooters.
The look is honest, elegant and enduring, blending candid documentary moments with refined editorial imagery. Films are shot with natural audio and edited in house in 4K, with Feature Edits of 8 to 10 minutes, shorter Highlight Edits and full length ceremony, speeches and dancing films. Couples can also add analogue extras: 35mm film photography, Super 8mm film and footage from a retro 90s style camcorder.
Photography, cinema and combo collections are all customisable, and on combo packages the in-house photographers and cinematographers work as one crew. A dedicated Wedding Production Coordinator helps with planning and timelines, and Casey, who joined in 2020, gets to know each couple before the day. Extras include drone footage, a messages to the newlyweds film, quick turnaround content creation, couples shoots and fine art albums.
