About Ashleigh Kennedy Photography

Ashleigh Kennedy Photography is run by Ashleigh Kennedy, a Photography Studies College Melbourne graduate who photographed weddings across Geelong, the Surf Coast and Colac for many years. After more than 15 years of weddings in Victoria, Ashleigh relocated with her family to the Gold Coast and is now taking wedding bookings across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounding areas, from beachfront ceremonies and hinterland venues to city celebrations and elopements.

Ashleigh began her career in documentary photography, and that storytelling approach still shapes her wedding work. Her style is natural, candid and honest, focused on the in-between moments rather than forced poses. She consults with each couple before the day to understand their personal style, and scouts locations ahead of time to find the best spots and light, then works as a calm, friendly presence who knows when to step back.

Wedding packages include professionally edited colour and black and white images delivered by digital download, meetings with the couple, location scouting or a rehearsal, and a short vertical social media reel. Elopement coverage is also offered. Ashleigh makes handmade wedding albums and frames, including an 11x14 inch album and smaller parent albums, so couples can keep their photos in print.
