She deliberately limits the number of bookings she takes each year so every couple gets her full time and attention, and her goal is simple: a ceremony your guests leave saying was so you.
Her celebrancy began with a light-bulb moment at her sister's wedding rehearsal, watching the celebrant gather an excited group of family and friends. Andrea says she is calm, organised and always thinking ahead, and she takes time to learn each couple's story, quirks and values. Her style is warm, relaxed and heartfelt, with humour that comes through storytelling rather than corny jokes. She is a quiet person herself, so shy couples who dislike the spotlight tend to find her reassuring.
Andrea is proudly inclusive and welcomes couples of every background, culture, gender and identity, with ceremonies that skip outdated traditions. Her packages cover full custom-written wedding ceremonies, elopements and micro-weddings, co-presented ceremonies with a loved one, and legals-only weddings on weekdays. She brings a wireless PA system, runs rehearsals for bigger weddings and applies for your Official Certificate of Marriage. She also founded Weekday Wedded Bliss in 2019, a one-stop weekday wedding package service.
Based in Sydney, Andrea regularly travels to the Blue Mountains, the Southern Highlands, Kangaroo Valley and the NSW South Coast. She has a network of trusted Sydney celebrants ready to step in if she is ever unable to officiate, and prepares every ceremony well in advance. Away from weddings you will find her on her yoga mat, lost in a book or pottering in the garden. She is a coffee person, a cat person, and yes, her eyes are different colours.
