AND Events
AND Events is a Sydney business run by Ann-Marie and Dominic Kaikaty that adds cold spark sparkulars, dry ice and smoke effects to weddings, alongside wedding styling and on-the-day coordination.
About AND Events
AND Events takes its name from the first letters of its founders, Ann-Marie and Dominic Kaikaty, partners in life and in business. Ann-Marie is the co-founder, designer and stylist, and also works full time as a school teacher. Dominic brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience with brands including One&Only, Emirates, Accor Hotels and Alt. Hospitality Group, and oversees planning and delivery. Their guiding philosophy is that they are in this together.
Special effects are a big part of the wedding offer. Indoor safe sparkular machines create shimmering fountains of cold sparks without the smoke or noise of traditional fireworks, timed to a grand entrance, cake cutting, first dance or departure, each with a dedicated technician. Dry ice gives a cloud effect for bridal entrances and first dances, and column smoke adds drama. Sparkulars can also feature at pre-wedding shoots, the send-off from home, the ceremony and a DJ or band set.
Beyond effects, AND Events offers wedding styling and design with layered textures, florals, tablescapes, signage and lighting, on-the-day coordination for couples who have planned it themselves, and destination wedding planning. Galleries on the site show styled weddings at Audley Dance Hall, Sergeants Mess and Oatlands Estate. The couple also style luxury pop-up picnics and proposals around Sydney.
