Ampersand Estates is a luxury winery and distillery in the Southern Forests near Pemberton, set on the banks of the Donnelly River and bordered on every side by Greater Beedelup National Park. It runs as a high-end DIY wedding venue and hosts just six weddings a year. Each one includes exclusive use of the estate and a three-night stay across all three residences, so the celebration runs over four days.
Ceremonies and receptions can move across the estate: the vintage Oldfields Barn with jarrah bush poles and sliding doors, The Terrace in a bend of the Donnelly River for 100 seated or 150 cocktail guests, and the Cellar Door beside the lake for up to 150. The Lake, the Helipad by the heritage Stables, the Courtyard and the Distillery Garden add more ceremony and canape settings.
The Homestead, Vintner's Residence and Settlers' Cottage sleep up to 24 guests across 12 king bedrooms, while wider guests stay in Pemberton or Nannup, about 25 minutes away. Couples bring their own caterer or work with the estate's private chef, and the caterer and hire company supply staff, glassware and furniture.
