Ambrose Estate sits among 300 acres of parkland and tranquil lakes in Wembley Downs, just 9km from the Perth CBD. Couples can hold both the ceremony and the reception on site, with gardens, fountains and rolling lawns around the venue for photos. The wedding team tailors each day, whether that means a traditional sit-down reception or a relaxed cocktail-style celebration, and a dedicated wedding coordinator looks after the planning and the day itself.
Ceremonies take place in the Lakeside Garden, where an open-air pavilion stands on the lawns beside the lakes, and a ceremony booking runs for up to two hours. Receptions are held in the Ambrose Room, a light-filled space with floor-to-ceiling glass opening onto a timber balcony over the lawns, lakes and bushland. The room seats up to 230 guests, or 400 cocktail style, and divides into two smaller rooms for more intimate weddings.
Guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapés on the balcony before moving inside. A Bridal Suite adjoins the Ambrose Room, with a private ensuite and its own separate entrance. Menus run from plated and banquet dinners to buffets and canapés, paired with six-hour beverage packages, and couples are welcome to bring their own suppliers or choose from the venue's recommended list.
