Amanda Louise says she is smitten with love and passionate about words, and had long wanted to become a marriage celebrant. She describes herself as authentic, creative and calm, and she cherishes love in all its forms, believing everyone has the right to express love their own way. What draws her to the role is the joy of bringing a couple's wishes to life and creating moments they and their families will cherish.

Before celebrancy, Amanda spent more than 15 years supporting professional services at the highest levels as an executive assistant and practice manager. She is also an experienced wedding planner and event organiser with formal qualifications in hospitality, so taking care of the details comes naturally. She pairs that organisation with a love of storytelling, and couples often praise the way she captures their story with warmth and humour.

Her services start with a free, no-obligation meeting. The Legals covers the paperwork and wording to get you legally married with just you, two witnesses and Amanda. The Bells and Whistles adds a bespoke ceremony script and vows, planning meetings, a rehearsal and a portable PA and microphone if needed. Both include travel within 20km of the Adelaide CBD, and she is happy to tailor something in between.
