Affections Wedding & Event Hire was created by Kellie Martin in 2010 and provides personalised wedding styling from a showroom in Aberdare, open by appointment. Kellie works with couples one on one, mixing and matching designs in the showroom so every detail suits the day. Her range runs from stylish and elegant to vintage and chic, and she adapts to any style or theme.
The decor list covers chair covers and sashes, centrepieces from candelabras to glass vases, mood lighting, and backdrops for the bridal table, from crisp white curtains with fairy lights to coloured fabric drops with uplighting. Bridal, cake and gift tables can be draped in white organza, and ceiling draping with fairy lights is her specialty, setting a romantic feel in any room.
Ceremonies are styled too, whether in a quaint chapel, a grand cathedral or among the Hunter Valley vineyards, with aisle runners lined with silk flowers, decorated garden arches and organza pew bows. Kellie styles weddings from intimate gatherings of twenty to large venue receptions, and also decorates corporate functions.
