Adeline Estate is a privately owned 80-acre rural property at Sawyers Gully, on the edge of Lovedale in the Hunter Valley. It is booked as an exclusive-use venue: when you book, the whole property is yours for the weekend, and the estate takes one wedding at a time.
The estate is direct about what it is not. There is no in-house catering, no preferred-supplier list and no fixed reception package. The property is a blank canvas, so the couple chooses the layout, the suppliers, the food, the drinks, the styling and the run sheet. Their own one-line positioning is exclusive use, blank canvas, BYO everything.
The format is a wedding weekend rather than a five-hour reception: Friday arrival through to Sunday, three days and two nights, with accommodation on site for up to thirteen people across a four-bedroom heritage farmhouse and two bell tents. Dogs are welcome, though they need to stay on a lead outside the fenced yard because there is livestock on the property.
Getting there: roughly fifteen minutes from Cessnock, ten minutes to the wineries, about forty minutes from Newcastle and around two hours from Sydney. Visits are by appointment. Compare it with the other Hunter Valley wedding venues.

Including GST, as published by the estate: Friday to Sunday, three days and two nights, with the property to yourselves. The estate describes its figures as indicative investment guides rather than fixed packages, and asks for your date and guest count before confirming options and guest limits.
